South Australian Births - Index of Registrations 1842-1906 (South Australian Genealogy & Heraldry Society Inc.)
The time of the Christmas family's move to Kadina can be deduced as being about 1874 from the location of the births of Christmas's younger siblings. This would make Christmas 11 years old, rather than the 7 years cited in a number of obituaries.
